The luncheon and honor ceremony has become a tradition with the festival that is honored this year with a formal award, from here on known as the:

Tapology Living Legends Award

Since the very first Tapology festival, the assembled group of dancers and tap enthusiasts have honored a performer that we feel has made a valuable and lasting contribution to the art of tap dance. 

Tapology's Living Legends Award recognizes the contributions and milestones of tap dancers who have made history and continue to live the example of a courageous life for 21st century youth.  

Join us in welcoming Arthur Duncan, a Living Legend, to Flint, Michigan. This globe-trotting entertainer, known for sophisticated footwork and lively singing style, joins Tapology Living Legends Awardees who have been honored at past festivals:
