Robyn Watson was featured in the May/June 2005 issue of “Dance Spirit” magazine as one of “ 20 Hot tappers, 20 and Under”.
Robyn has performed at the Kimmel Center Plaza with Germaine Ingram and Frances Bradley in “An Evening of Tap and Song”; “A Tribute to Gregory Hines” in Washington, DC, which also included Dianne Walker, Baakari Wilder and singer/dancer Mya; in Atlantic City at the Dante Hall- Theater of Performing Arts with Tap Team Two & Co in “ An Evening of Tap”; with the legendary Mable Lee in New York “ Tap Extravaganza”.
Recently Robyn's also performed with Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley at Northeastern University for their Black History show, which also featured Marshall Davis Jr., Jimmy Slyde, and Dianne Walker. In February, she was a featured dancer in “Sound and Movement” produced by Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley and held at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz.
Robyn is a senior at Temple University in Philadelphia where she will soon receive her B.A. in Theater. She is also a member of Christian Stronghold Baptist Church.
