Tap dance instruction via professional contemporary and historical performing artists has earned Tapology a name for quality workshops, historical education and concert performances.

Tapology is known as the dance instruction event where everyone is welcome, from beginners to seniors, and all in between.

The Tapology Festival offers a jam-packed schedule of tap dance activities over a four-day weekend. This dance festival is distinctive in that it offers events for Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced and Senior students.

The tap dancers weekend begins with workshops on Friday evening, honors Living Legend David Gilmore at Saturday afternoon’s Honoree Luncheon, hosts the Tap Competition with $1,500 in prizes on Saturday night and the Tapology Concert on Sunday evening.

The Tapology Concert is the tap dance extravaganza featuring tap in all its forms.

Tapology features the hottest names in contemporary tap and some of the most important artists to have graced an American stage in the past 80 years!

The Tapology Concert features: Tap, African, Jazz and Step dance, showcasing the wide variety of percussive dance styles popular in performance today.
