Getting Involved:

Exposing youth and the young at heart to Tap Dance, in all its historical significance is an important part of the Tapology mission. Creating fun, healthy means to staying fit is another. Our goal is that a weekend spent with artists, movie stars, stage performers and peers, who are passionate about their love for dance, will inspire participants to continue into adult life with dance shoes in hand. We also hope that students, through our Visiting Schools Day program will have an opportunity to experience the joy and excitement of Tap Dance perhaps for the first time, and will adopt the love of tap as one of the ways in which they can remain healthy and youthful well into their Golden years.

One of the ways we are able to bring the festival into the Mid-Michigan community is through the wide support of volunteers. We understand that the festival could not continue without the valuable assistance of parents and supporters. This year we are revamping the Volunteer Recognition Program as our way of saying Thank You to all the dedicated people who bring the Tapology Festival to life.

Become a vital part of the Tapology program and see your name in print on our volunteer web page.
